show jumping escapades At one large fashionable show Friend mare refused a huge stone wall by suddenly running out to the right and passing the wall completely The suddenness of the swerve shot Friend from the saddle forcing her to swing around with her left foot still in the stirrup until she was facing the horses tail Her free right foot hit the wall and quick as a she was pivoted back in the saddle cantering on without missing a beat to the the spectators The judge offered her to try the trick Two lovely phrases from a lonj time horseman I Commenting on a horse Humph he s all hair and intended to get started on his stable but with miles of dirt to get covered with grass tune has by and now it nearly snowing and this is the reason I am writing it won t be ready for weeks How much cold tan a fuzzy well fed home take In a pinch could chastnj him in his shelter a bit more be adequate protection I sure II find this great brute standing in our family one cold morning Answer Please tet that horse out of familj room He a big tough beast and will probably be happier free in his corral with his shelter all winter In fact fciven r choici horses prefer to be out in the rather than confined Our winters arc not no they not compared to the rest of Canada and horses winter out most satisfactory Your geldinf will be healthier if allowed his freedom rather than standing confined in a
