Applied and Visual Arts Mothers trained to offer day care Since January five mothers with young children have been coming to the Campus lo loam more about children and to study methods of guiding subjects Family life draws on the theories of sociology and family therapy to present an analysts of how a healthy family functions child development covers the stages from infant to adolescence with special emphasis on the preschool ages Through such activities as finger painting and collage the mothers are taught now to use play materials art activities music books and routines for training students win fashion awards Two Sheridan College graduates of the fashion design program were awarded Fashion Canada scholarships for advanced studies in fashion design and technology and Mary Chong
