pool to the people and to forward the peoples contribution of to the town Costs escalated hugely between the time the Lions conceived the idea and the actual time of con fatruction Much money was re quired from other sources the old town of Acton the old township of Esquesing government grants and Hills council However it is still the Lions initiative that got the pool started They met with co operation and willingness during their public campaign and building program Thanks all 13 Lions club mem bers Acton IS perogie country It took a zany set of coinci dences to turn Acton into believe it
