Guide and Brownie news 1st Eden Guide Tuesday April was the night of our all important first aid test It was conducted by Mr Don Bouche on behalf of the St John Ambulance John Ford the instructor was on hand to encourage each girl as she was tested The test took the form of real life situations such as a patient with severe bleeding All nineteen candidates were able to cope well with each test and Mr Bouche said he had never tested such en thuslastlc first aiders Apart from the knowledge and experience gained each girl will receive the St Johns Ambulance pin and cer and two Girl Guide badges Slides shown During the time that girls were waiting to be tested slides on Stamp Collecting from the Canada Post Office were shown Those not taking first aid baked fruit pies under the guidance of
