Parks maintenance debate goes on and on the great debate on the responsibility for parka maintenance continued Monday night with council questioning tho recom mendation that recreation advisory committee act as trouble shooters by spotting problems and telling tho commlltM know about it The administration com recommended copies of the recreation Advisory committee minutes go to both the worts administration committees with their separated so any items on parks main planning going to works committee The administration com- also suggested the works superintendent or a re presentative attend the Re creation Advisory Committee meetings Councillor Dick sold the advisory committees were concerned more than programming and main tcnancc of parks lie claimed thoy are interested In planting and priming of trees creating lower beds and expanding existing facilities Councillor Morrow warned the alternative may be a complete maintenance staff for the recreation department with the
