The Acton Free Press Wed June 1976 Present awards diplomas to first 4H Carnegie grads Forty three members of Ha 11 on 4 clubs received diplomas from the Dale Carnegie Personal Develop ment Program during an award ceremony held at Holy Rosary Church Hall Saturday night They are the first class ever to receive this training in Canada Theresa Holland area Dale Camegie course supervisor and course instructor said she was pleased with the mature attitude of the Halton Hers Even their parents have noticed a change in them Mrs Holland said I think each one of the students has benefitted from the course Mrs Holland said the key to the course is personal development and that the goals of the course are building self confidence and Among the first decisions to be made by the H class was who should receive the top awards namely the Highest Special Achievement Awards The class voted on the person fell had gained the most from taking the course and came up with a from Georgetown and one
