cheque for 50 proceeds of a dance sponsored by the club The ladies donation came from the proceeds of their first bazaar Georgetown Newfoundland Club presented to the North Association for the Mentally Retarded Saturday night in the form of two cheques from the Ladies Auxiliary which held a special bazaar and from the club proceeds from a benefit dance October Edith Hllfman preschool chairman of Tinker Bell Nursery accepted the cheques for and 598 respectively on behalf of the North Association for the Mentally Retarded The presentations were held during the regular Saturday night dance of the Georgetown Newfoundland Club to which Mrs Hilfmon and other members of the NHAMR were invited The Newfoundland Club donated the hall at Norval free of charge for the benefit dance October disc Jockey Bruce Killam of made no charge for his services and music and the two bar tenders Harry McLean and Joseph Kaough of Georgetown and ticket seller Mrs Harry Horvath Georgetown all donated
