amputees enter games for disabled The Ontario Amputee Sports Association Is looking for participants for the Ontario Games Tor the Physically Disabled which will be held in Brantford June 17 John Gibson of George town who is president of the association feels there are many amputees living in Ontario who could compete if they were aware of the Games He explains that competition is between similar disabilities a below the knee amputee only competes against another below Only by participating In the Ontario Games can an in dividual be chosen for the Ontario Team to go to Ed monton for the Canada Games for the Physically Disabled In August The Ontario Sports Amputee Association is a new organization whose alms and objectives are to promote competition among am putees This will be
