the students will be reviewing studies policy material and previous planning practices doing inventories of existing sport recreation and culture facilities in an attempt to formulate policy for he next few years They will be analyzing usage patterns past present as well as assessing future needs Alternatives concepts and strategies will be evaluated and the students will produce a model for future recreation in Hills which will lie in with both the town and regional ideas on the subject Gray said The end products he said will include recommenda for strengthening the present system for acquisition and development of land and phasing of this development Working on a 10ycir plan the first five years will in elude specific hard core recommendations and the second five year period will more general There have been a number of applications received for this program although it was just approved last week Gray said he is looking for people who have landscape planning experience can meet with community groups rcwate to people well and hopefully people who have previously worked on master plans for areas Ik said he has been talking with people in universities community colleges
