and Georgetown areas recently got underway and besides the normal activities of crafts games and sing songs that take place on a daily basis at these play grounds there occurs a number of specially may visit vary from year to year and this year we have decided to travel to Bronte Creek the Royal Ontario Museum and Hopefully these places will serve the purpose of being fun exciting and a learning experience for everyone In volved Other activities which are planned include a puppet show which is particularly for those children aged five through seven this is to take place Tuesday July 12 There is also a theatrical group Road Show Theatre who are coming from to put on a dramatic adap tation of a fairy tale for all the playground children Both the Acton George town areas have area wide events which con centra on involving all playground sites in one major activity Acton playgrounds have decided on holding a swim meet while Georgetown sites will take part in a com blned truck and field meet and softball tournament Playgrounds In the different areas will hold their own weekly special events which usually are related to the in dividual themes of each site Although no final decisions hove
