only the second time in his life Friday and spent nearly as much time off his skates as on saying its still cheap compared to other places The number of people skating this year has varied from a low of four to a high of averaging in the middle 30s Earlier on in the year at tendance was not too bad but like any event the novelty wears off and attendance drops off said They tried changing nights from Friday night to Sunday night but that was even worse Tuesday night which has been set all year has also been drawing terribly Last year said I could come in at seven oclock open the doors at 7 and a whole mess of kids would already be on the front steps On the brighter side for the skating program at the arena there are more young kids than last year noted Day Camp kids have gone in and skated on rainy days and a few developed an interest this way Most of the people skating are in their late teens from 16 to and for them the skating is a night out Kids come and meet their friends
