half day and grades and French in the after By Victoria Rodriguez Students have returned to school from their Christmas vacations Most of them stayed in the Acton area for their holiday but some were as far away as Florida and California for Christmas Some happen ings have gone on around the school lately Some burglars broke into the school last Thursday The sum of money was taken from the office Damage was done to two doors and a filing cabinet Since volleyball is over the new season will be starting out with floor hockey We hope that it is fun Good luck to all participating teams playing the piano skiing and enjoys most of all teaching By Carol and ChrU Getting back to school after a week long holiday was a littlo difficult for some of us Most people however were keeping busy with the after school sports such as the boys and girls basketball teams and the badminton tournaments which are still on There is also wrestling and weight lifting teams The cheerleaders ore practising their phantom cheers for the first basketball game for the boys tomorrow On Monday the girls house league started a new schedule or bombem We hope they have fun with this new and exciting game The student council is planning another dance welcome on January The dance will start at 30 and end at Admission Is 35 cents and cents for chips or pop Just before the beginning of Christmas holidays each grade level had an academic assembly During this assembly people who averaged eighty or over received a Well Done certificate Rioting that they are a member or the eighties club for the first term This certificate Is in our school colors of purple and white and Includes our school crest We hope many more of our dents will be members of this club in the second term The school uniforms red last January last Saturday was a success The Outers are plan ning another drive on Feb ruary The beginning of turn around time takes place in 16 days At this time students will have days off then return
