Press Wednesday March 9 MZ Bennett carnival is fun and challenging WAYNE tosses a ball into a bucket as part of a game at the M Z Bennett winter carnival last Friday A balance of competitive and noncompetitive ac made the M Z Bennett winter carnival enjoyable and challenging or both teachers and students last Friday February The twohour event began 15andranuntil315inlhc afternoon About students took part In the carnival with grades kindergarten to five and special education classes making up the total The students were divided into teams with children from the different grade levels making up a team This mix lure of grades made It possible for the older children to help out the younger ones and for all the children to work together as a team Activities such os mural painting in the gym gave the carnival a different touch from the usual outdoor games most winter carnivals Games of skill and speed such as stick handling and obstacle courses were popular among the teams Tugowar
