Bump for Life The dancea thon Is sponsored by the Kinsmen In Georgetown and is to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research The trophy from last year now sits in the Acton high school library after the own school Music at Acton high is being provided by Sounds discjockeys Gerry and Marty Claude These two men are don ating hours or their time for the cause Other companies donating to the cause include Up McDonald in Georgetown Radio Shack Nellsons chocolate and CJJD Hamilton radio who will be reporting on the dancea as It progresses Tim Cooper Kinsmen member and Acton high organizer said that any local chant wishing to donate spot prizes would be appreciated Mr Cooper suggested that merchants come down to the thon and have a special spot dance dedicated to their store in recognition of their donation All the money raised through the dancea will go to the Cystic Fibrosis research Prizes for the winning schools are donated The school with the most dollars collected per capita takes possession of the dance trophy and wins a cash prize of The school collecting Ihe most dollars overall wins Fifty dollars will be awarded to the male and female student who collect the most amount of gymnastics team went to Lord Elgin for another meet This meet was against Lester Pearson Lord Elgin and Most of the girls placed very high in every event April 7 Is hat day at the school Students will
