sizes and types can be found for growing children here there is a wide selection As if One of life greatest frustrations is feed sack Burlap bags are sewn on a machine with a little tall left at one side just right for pulling Unfortunately on most of my sacks there a tail on each corner so you have to make decisions immediately The line of stitching is designed to unrivel from one side to the next with a healthy tug on that wcotoil Now inyonc who has had experience with feed sacks know it just about impossible to get this to happen usually choose the wrong end and hopelessly tangle the threads By now the other end won I unravel either and I jab at the with the hay knife My two hundred dollar coat sewn as well as feed sacks Mice can chew great holes in the bottom but they get the top stitching open usually just tear a hole in the side of the bag with my trusty struggle with the contents Opening a sack that way s like undoing a girdle you can t get back in what you let out Of course the final straw comes when 1 ve spent five minutes arguing cursing and wrestling my feed sack and have done the jibbing in the side bit when Mack comes along murmuring having trouble and calmly rips the stitching out with one tiny lug Wrap off While we re on the subject of containers and packaging have you tried to start your plastic wrap lately You know kind you wrap the kids sandwiches In I always have to start a new box on the day when everyone overslept and I help ng out the kids by slapping two pieces of bread round a lump of peanut butter That ptastic wrapthe k nd that sticks to an elephant and lifts It the ground or is lhat glue won I let go of its roll eventogctrolhng Or a new screwdriver gracefully displayed on a cardboard back with heavy plastic formed around it You need a screwdriver lo get Into that packaging but you haven t got a screwdriver which is why you bought one In the first placet How about milk bags Mine never fit In my little jug properly golngdown only half way and then doubling over as I pour a teaspoon of milk in my tea My English parents had a fit when Ihey first saw our milk bags several years ago their Idea of bagged milk was entirely different My mother can never get used to them and still cuts the corner off the wrong end Speaking of packaging I notice spring is here and it about time I got some new packaging for myself I saw this darling little beige suit smile next time you re driving down Trafalgar Road try saying Trafalgar backwards Trustees get hike in pay Trustees Audrey ton Betty Eastwood and Tony along with Village Secretary
