system with classes now held at Sun shine Park and Schools Countryside is an adult residence recently opened on Trafalgar Road Hornby It has a capacity for 18 adults needing a sheltered training environment The programs are geared towards allowing each resident to live as normal a life as their hand icap permits For some the residence has been a stepping stone for more Independent living Just in the past few months four adult women moved out of Countryside into a in Milton From their new home they go doily to Jobs In the community The Association is so proud of this last project as It is such a big step forward And there arc so many more steps to be taken and that Is the reason for the annual Flowers of Hope Campaign The money from this campaign Is the main funding for the NHAMR All money stays in North working to support these many services The Flowers of Hope Campaign really does give hope for many people The City Council of Beta Sigma Phi hosted a dinner and dance April 29 at the Halton Hills Coif and Country Club to celebrate the anniver sary of the Founding of the Organization which is the largest organization of Its kind In the world The evening began at 30 with a honored guest made the scrapbook and yearbook awards that she had The Yearbook award went to Delta Beta and the scrap- book award to Phi chapter of Acton Terry presented Kay Dills with a glass box made by Gerry Mazur and thanked her very much for taking the time to judge the books and come to the dinner After the dinner members ere joined by their husbands and escorts for a dance and in between
