United church welcomed into the order of Elder Emeritus one of Its most faithful members Orwell Johnston Mr Johnston has been a dedicated elder for over so years Also participating In the service were two other honorary elders Mrs Lillian Eaton who now lives at St Lukes Place and Clarence Gamble Park Ave Received into church membership were Susan Beemer Laurie Cook and Gall Manuel Speaking of Mr of ceremonies Councillor and Coutts Streets- vllle district education chairman of Central counties district brought greetings Special volunteers were cited including Marg Oliver of the daffodil program and the youngest volunteers Coats and Andrea The role of caring was subject guest speaker Helen Cummins chose as she ad dressed the group dinner She has been an executive member in Erin dale
