Eden Mills Christmas visitors in community homes by Mrs Mr and Mrs Charles Davidson Acton were recent visitors with their cousins Sada and Katie Mrs Wilk Wilson ac by Mrs George Watson Guelph recently visited with Mrs Wilsons law Mrs Freda Watson formerly of Guelph who is now a resident in a nursing home in Some of the Friendly Seniors who also belong to the Sunshine Seniors in Rock wood enjoyed a lovely Christmas supper catered by the Upited Church Group at their town hall on Dec 1st They were delight fully entertained in the even by The Marianne Trifunovlch Group from and Mrs Vivian 0 Brien of with her country music and dancing George Day of Rock wood also got in the dance act All told it was a great night for our young at heart seniors The Youth Group of the Presbyterian Church added to Sunday service with a short skit on a modern trip to Bethlehem The third Advent candle was lit and White Gifts were gathered The con gregational luncheon followed the service with hot casseroles turkey and yummy desserts The children and adults all received Christmas candy Very much enjoyed was the Chrislnas solo sung beautifully by the minister Rev Carrie in the morning worship Mr and Mrs gifts and a delicious lunch of Christmas goodies Mrs Bryon Bruce closed the meeting with prayer Drivers from the Denny Bus Lines their husbands or wives had a most enjoyable time in Toronto where they visited the CBC television studios for the toping of the Tommy Hunter show Many were surprised at the amount of work and time that is in volvcd in taping a minute show which took 3A hours After the show the drivers embarked to the Seaway Towers where they enjoyed a bountiful repast Communion service was observed at Knox Pres Church Church on Sunday morning The Explorers had set up the Nativity
