it very difficult for me to walk any dis due to the seizures in my calf The thought of having my arteries operated on really scared me I had to go to the Burlington Hospital to have my artery cleaned out Thank You for being with me then I had undergone the operation and was Just waking up in the recovery room to cover that I was being wheeled back in for the second operation The Just cleaned artery during my recovery period had completely closed cutting off all My foot had turned black Thank You for working through the doctors to save my foot and my life Once again during September 1977 I found it very hard to he- cause circulation wo a so poor the pulse beat was weak and the calf seizures in my left leg were bad Dr Hunter strongly recommended I go to Yao at St Michaels in Toronto inspite or the fact that I get an appointment with him until April This seemed such a long time to wall when the blood was not circulating properly Like most patients with this type of problem I feared for my lea and life decided to place a plastic artery in my thigh to by pass the natural artery I could remember the last on my right leg with fear This however was a very different experience as the doctor asked if I would like to watch No was my mediate response However my hip was frozen with local anesthesia and one doc tor prepared the thigh for Dr who came in worked for three minutes then 1 heard Stitch it up and out he went I believe how fast and easy it all went Thank You The next day I was up walking around and out of hospital in two weeks The only problem I ex now that I am back to work and taking part in all my regular is that the cold bothers my legs This is such a little thing when I think about what it could be like with no leg Dear God I want all patients who have
