Gorrie Bert of Milton Douglas of and Gertie Mrs Erwin Shepherd of Burlington His pas sing is a great loss to his family and to his many friends On October 29 he took his life partner Catherine Anderson daughter or the late Mr and Mrs Nelson son of Nassagawcya Walter and Catherine had two daughters Mary Mrs Charles Stokes of Campbcllville and Carol Mrs Lloyd Lucas of Alma Six grandchildren also remain Recently Walter and Catherine celebrated the anniversary of their marriage when their many friends Joined with them to make this a memorable occasion He as born in East Flambnro Township March 1912 He began his school life at Baden and in came with his parents and family to where he attended No Three school He was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church Milton The funeral was held Wed nesday February 14 at the Shoemaker Funeral Home in Acton and was conducted by his min the Rev Trevor J Lewis Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in Milton The pallbearers were Douglas Mason of Acton Ivan Richardson of Ray Harvey Brush and Lorne Colling or Milton and Jack Turner of Chelten ham The flower bearers were grandchildren Walter Karen Raymond and Barbara Stokes and Linda Colling a family friend Two other younger grandchildren arc and Kevin Lucas Mrs Parsons Dorothy Margaret Parsons Place died in General Hospital 24 following a lengthy illness She was years of age Mrs Parsons a house wife was born Sept ember 11 1915 in Tor onto She was the daughter of Catherine Bam Tuiloch and William Thome She attended Public school marrying Ernest Parsons March 1B44 She was member of the Brownie and Guide organization Mrs Parsons is by her husband daughters Eliza both Mrs Frank Mississauga Lynnc Mrs Terry and son Robert Aclon She is also survived by two grandchildren service was held in Acton
