the Information booklet being prepared by the students and staff of Acton High School is completion and will be presented to the Board of Directors at the regular monthly meeting on May The finished product will be completed by the end of this school year and available to the public In time forthesummermonlhs We sincerely appreciate the cooperation of our schools for a project such as this and feel the booklet will be a major ad dition to our public relations information on Acton Don t forget that the Map Directory available now Within the next few weeks some long needed renovations will be made to the Chamber of Commerce Bulletin Board located the Town Office building on Mill Street New paint which will coordinate with the downtown area and new plexiglass should make this board more attractive In addition we have a plan make the board truly useful by Initialing system of coordinating community As suggested by a Chamber member the central part of the board will display enlarged memo- type calendar pages to allow interest groups and service clubs to mark down their scheduled events Four months will be posted at a time and rotated regularly as each month passes Wilh such a system a group may check the calendar as posted to avoid the conflict of sameday ached tiling with another group At the same time the board will become a central point for advertising of A key to the
