cultural exchange arranged through Open House Canada a depart of the secretary of state that encourages students to experience other parts of Canada first hand The tour began when the band arrived in Edmonton late Sunday evening May 18 Old friendships were renewed us the students were billeted with the families they had hosted In February On Monday they visited Fort Edmon ton a reconstruction of a wooden stockade fort that had originally stood on the site of the present parliament buildings The next day they toured the Gulf refineries to learn first hand about the petroleum industry The Citadel
