good Super- of Facilities lor Hilton took charge of thii new post on the Town staff August and has spent much of his time orienting him self to the faculties in town He will be in charge of all facilities including arenas community centres and playing field Growing up in Toronto Hay worked in arenas for 12 years In and Scarborough before deciding to go to Seneca College in Two years and a diploma in Recreation Facilities Management later Hay started work for the Township of Kingston Not to be confused with the city of Kingston Because the staff was small only three people for population he found himself working In all depart ments getting to know all areas of recreation During his four years in the Kingston area Hay completed a Principles of Manage ment course at the University of Cud ph and received a Cer tificate of Qualification from the Ministry of Consumer and Com mercial Relations and an Interim Municipal Recreation Directors Certificate from the Ministry of Culture and Recreation Once hes settled in Acton with his wife and two young daughters Hay says he plans to get Involved in as many sports as possible He is a referee and umpire plays baseball hockey
