wet- fare last year in increased 22 per cent over 1981 prompting the regions Social Services department to project the caseload will go up a further per cent by the end of this year But David Swarc income manager for the Social Services cautioned council In a report that these figures are tentative and may alter as the economy changes Remember it is a symptom of the economy explained Swarc
