were nown as The Hyenas and The Skunks Georgetown and a joint group were known as The Bears 8th Georgetown having two patrols were The Rata and The Chicken Patrol 1st Glen Williams and 1st a joint patrol were known as The Tigers Campfire Chief Terry Colter opened the Campfire with songs skits rounds and yells which were enjoyed by all Parents and visitors attended the campfire Teresa McLaughlin a new leader at 2nd Trinity Acton led in a lively song as did Sybil Cub Sandy Bevans of Georgetown did a real fine Job leading a song as well The Torpedo skit put on by Georgetown was a real hit giving their patrol extra points Evelyn Owen each night made hot chocolate for the boys ana coffee for the leaders for the weekend First Aid duties were looked after by Jean Layman Sunday morning the Scouts Own Service Camp Chief Del Wood welcomed the gathering and led in a prayer Spiritual hymns were led by Leaders Dave Pyke and Art McRavy Readings were by Cubs Steven Hay den and Jeff Hannah of 1st Georgetown Evelyn Owen gave he Scouters Five and BUI Ingles led in a prayer followed by The Lords Prayer Blue Springs property provides many nature attractions and a hike along the trails was most interesting or everyone Trail signs were instructed by Del Wood followed by instructions on Coleman stoves by Peter Ken House and Dave Pyke Points were so close by all patrols but the trophy was
