the treasurer Monday night and then decided not to pass a bylaw to continue putting lot levies in the special fund Lot levies will now go m a general reserve fundforcapitalprojects Council will still be able to decide later if funds in the general reserve are to be spent on a municipal complex Pointing to a report from the treasurer in Councillor Mike Armstrong said he hoped all councillors noted that five years ago the Town was looking at a cost of about million for a municipal complex A report from a consultant tabled earlier this year showed an estimated cost of over million for a joint Town Halton Hills Hydro ad ministration centre Treasurer Ray King said by putting lot levies in a general reserve council would a void critic ism for earmarking the funds for just one project
