progressing through to the finals which were held on Ciderfest The ladies offered no surprises as far as the final contestants were concerned Marcia Gregg and Chris who re cently combined to lake the doubles crown staged another of their many battles and it was anyone guess as to who the winner would be steady returns with accurate placements were countered by Christine more forceful shots and in the end Christines edge In tactics and steadiness resulted in her winning the singles troph The senior men of our club were ceremoniously dumped by a couple of youngsters who are Just due to graduate from Juniors this year Scott Hibbard and Ken Kavanagh a ready the club doubles champs faced each other on Sunday to provide some excellent top grade tennis full of staling rallies Scott started off in fine style as he took a 1 lead but at this point Ken decided to steady up and toolt the first set The second set was dingdong battle as Ken edged Scott This was to be a best of five final and Just as
