the Halton Hills Invitational tournament exceedingly well organized by Don Gibson reached a climax this past weekend as the finals were played off on Sunday The highlight as far as Acton was concerned was the tremendous performance put on by Marcia Gregg and Chris Stcen as they played a very forceful game and made few errors In overpowering Georgetowns best Allison and Pauline Kent in two Two other notable performances by Acton players should also be mentioned Scott Hibbard worked his way into the mens singles semi final to meet George towns young powerhouse Mike Mitchell They produced some high speed exciting tennis of the highest calibre as Scolt went down tiebreaker Secondly Don Gregg and Mike Moms reached the mens doubles semi final only to be knocked out by Georgetowns Jerry Peace and
