you approach the budding on River St is Acton L For some time now the Hills Library Board been looking for someone who might know a way to replace the missing metal alphabet letters to match those that remain But to no Acton Branch Head Cathy hopes that someone in the sign business or metal industry who might be able to replace the letters with suitable substitutes will come forward and volunteer their expertise The Board would pay the costs It is felt the missing letters should have been replaced months ago and the effect detracts from the general appearance of the building erected as a Centennial project by the Town of Acton in 1957 In the meantime the Off Road Riders Motorcycle Club has volunteered their services to the library After hearing about current financial problems the group has agreed to build and bear the costs of erecting a Children Reading Nook in the lower level of the building Construction is expected to start within the next few months Law bites back
