educational system discussing the effects of the radical changes being introduced to Ontario schools such as the eventual dis appearance of grade 13 Moderated by Gail Scott the program also delved Into the kinds of educational opportunities needed for students moving directly from a secondary school into the work place Moore who is no stranger to the topics discussed on tho program has been in with the regional and provincial educational system since 1966 and said she was probably recommended by the Ministry of Education to represent Ontario pals Moore started her teaching career at Oak vllle Trafalgar a teacher and worked her way up to department head and then vice- principal for two years and then four years ago she came to Acton as the school first female principal Presently Moore Is finishing her term as President of the Halton Educational Branch and is also holding the presidency of the Secondary Principals Association I been involved with regional since I began my career said Moore and as a representative of the principals association I have a lot of background on the new system being implemented in the school year I was invited to speak by Ihe Ministry of Betty Moore
