first period then rallied at 11 and 17 to take a lead at the end of the first period As the second period opened the Toros grabbed a quick short handed goal at 1 to Increase their lead by two markers the better Since the Acton Sabres started their 84 season there has been a great deal of change First the team received a new spon then a new coaching staff Suddenly the local squad is winning hockey games Many of these changes Include new faces on the team in some cases old faces are returning One of these faces is Steve Buchanan a junior hockey veteran and a former resident of Acton Buchanan has said he is going to turn a losing club into a compel live and winning team and already It can be seen he as good as his word The Sabres started the competent Fred is a rookie in the Junior ranks and according to coach Buchanan with a little work could be a top notch goalie A few weeks ago the Sabres increased their strength wilh Rick Lan dry a veteran goalie from Milton Landry has proven himself
