parks department will have a team of planners tour EOS acre site of a planned provin cial park in the Forks of tbe Credit area this week to come up with preliminary proposals for its development A spokesman for the dep artment John Bell said this week the park land which was purchased along with ap proximately additional acres on the Niagara Escarp ment will probably not be ful ly operational 1973 NO DATE SET He said the department has had Its eye on the Credit Forks area for some time and Is aware of its potential as a park No date has been set for the start of develop ment but Mr Bell said offic ials would like to get it as quickly as possible He said that duo to budgetary restrictions work would not likely start this year though the park would have the high est priority next year He said it would be open during tbe period of development though faculties would be limited probably until 1973 EXHIBIT AREA Though no definite plans have been made yet Mr Bell said the park will probably feature camping grounds and biking trails to emphasize the features of the escarpment and the geology of the Credit Valley He said one of its main uses would probably be as a day facility to
