HERALD Wednesday November 1 Air Cadets Receive Wings Scholarship ABOARD HMCS ALGONQUIN Two air cadets won and flying scholarships at the annual father and ion dinner of the Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron held last Wednesday evening at the Georgetown legion W0 Rick Peters son of Mr and Mrs Fred Peters and Sgt Russell Brown ion of Mr and Mrs T W Brown received their wings one of the highest honors a cadet can obtain and their scholarship awards which cover a six week course of instructions and flying at the London Flying Club Included In the program were awards to WOII Stewart McDonald senior leaders course cer awarded for sue cess fully completing a course at CFB Cold Lake Alberta Sgt Donald Cousens athletic leadership course certificate awarded for successfully completing a six week athletic course at Borden Peter Hope technical training course certificate following a technical course at den M Rush and Cpl R intermediate leaden course certificates for a three- week course at CFB Trenton Sgt J Dodge Junior leadership course cer tificates or a three week course at Trenton LAC B Rush sports organization following a threeweek course at CFB Trenton Albert and LAC J Clarke at CFB Trenton Sgt LAC C Smith M Taylor J S Dunn C McLeod G E Fisher J C Smith Hope Redmond S D Taylor A Vernon C Brown and Campbell summer camp certificates for attendance at summer camp at Trenton
