will be published in the herald written bv the Georgetown Judo Club This Is the first of a monthly series The Georgetown Judo Club Is not a commercial venture but operated by a group of en senior members associated with the Recreation committee Instructor Is W who has a third degree black belt He is one of the foremost Instructors in Canada and teaches a very high grade of judo For the uninitiated judo is known as the gentle art of self defense a sport developed from the ancient warlike arts of Japan In essence it teaches one to use the Impetus of an opponent to the advantage so
