man behind the Bantam For the past nine years the driving force behind the International Bantam Hockey Tournament held in Georgetown has been the tournaments chairman Harry Levy Mr Levy had been In volved with the tour nament since its inception in lHi but at the request Of Red in 1967 the Kinsmen Club took over the organizing aspect and Mr Levy accepted the chairmans position Asked why he became so involved with the tournament Mr Levy explained that It was basically because of the organizational challenge It should be noted that very few men would be likely to take up he challenge if they knew the amount of work involved Preparations for ho tournament start six months In advance and this In effect means that Harry Levy becomes totally Involved from this point on He takes his Job as chairman very seriously and insures that every aspect of the tournament receives his personal scrutiny This runs the gamut from the mailing of invitations all the way down to make sure that the tables at which the youngsters will eat are properly covered The tournament under Mr Levys direction has been praised as the most highly ad ministrative tournament In Canada and teams that have competed here have regularly endorsed this statement Although he has never played the game of hockey apart from the odd game Mr Levys dedication to this tournament accurately expresses his love for
