Squirt demonstrate the enthusiasm that could be seen in all nine of Saturday a opening day games The Panthers defeated the Giants Soccer season is underway The Georgetown Minor Soccer Association launched the season on Saturday at Cedarvale under beautiful sunny skies and warm Eighteen teams participated in nine games on the opening day schedule This year the association was proud to have Joe Smith Georgetown Mr Soccer perform the official kickoff ceremony at centre field Mr Smith was recuperating from Illness In hospital when request came but to the delight of all soccer people he left
