Pigel THE HERALD Wednesday Limehouse school choir hits high note in festival Ten public schools from the North Halton area took part in the North Music Festival at the M Z Bennett School last Wednesday Four schools represented the Georgetown area Wrigglesworth Glen William Stewarttown and the day long event The so member senior girls festival choir of Senior Public School won their divisional trophy as did the Triple Trio representatives from that school The triple duet award went to Z Bennett as part of the Grade Five and Six com petition The primary choir of Bennett also won a first priio their version of The Caterpillar The Mango Walk also netted the hosting school a further first place trophy The Junior choir of Robert Little School of Acton gained a first prize acclamation for their presentation of Icelandic Lullaby from adjudicator Elaine Mason of the North York of Education The triple duet category and the junior choir of Public School along with the the Grade Five class examined copies of the Herald which had been donated to the school Last Friday morning a short assembly was held In the auditorium so that the pupils could tell other students what they had learned In the assembly the students were divided into various newspaper sections such as the family page local news sports news etc Then a spokesman for each section ex plained the
