one of the provinces best middle distance runners even though still high school athlete Ross Jeffery placed fourth In the HO metre hurdles but his time of 13 seconds tied Ihe record In this event The winners lime was indicative of the closeness of the race Ross was also en tered In the 0 metre event but failed to qualify for the final The girls 0 metre relay team came up with a fine race
