coilsbora tor ana good friend Jean has written an all Canadian cookbook entitled The Happy Cooker The Happy Cooker contains recipes that have been tested by Barbara and Jean and took some three years to complete The recipes run from the very forms to the quick and easy The book has been accepted by a publisher and Barbara hopes It will be out in the near future Aside from flying writing cookbooks this energetic woman also and plays tennis She has a witty sense of humor that can be seen In a portrait she painted of her Tbe shows two tennis shoes with laces hanging a tennis racquet and a beer Georgetown residents were saddened at tbe news of tbe passing of James Evans at Georgetown District Memorial Hospital November 1 in his Oist year Mr Evans was well known through his association with the local board of education and his activities as Past Master of Credit Lodge His service with the board of education began as secretary treasurer some years before the Inception of the Halton Board of while tbe Georgetown Public School Board governed the few schools in the Georgetown area With the formation of Board of Education In 1B69 he was appointed to the post of supervisor of plant
