- A black and white photograph of the bridge over the Twelve Mile Creek on the Lake Shore Road, Bronte. A motorcycle and car approach the bridge. The Lake Shore Road was Highway 2 and in Bronte, it was officially named Triller Street. Now, it is "Lakeshore Road".
- Notes
- The stamp is a 2 cent stamp with King George VI in suit and tie, one of the "peace issue" stamps that came out in 1946.
- Inscriptions
- Commercial print on the front of the postcard: "The Bridge, Bronte Ontario."
Commercial print on the back of the postcard: "POST CARD", "PE CO OTTAWA", "PHOTOGELATINE ENGRAVING CO. LIMITED, OTTAWA".
The card is addressed to : Miss Babe Hahn New Hamburg, Ont.
The post mark: "BRONTE 07 40 ONT."
The message reads, "Hello Babe, Am holidaying at Bronte. We spend most of the time out sailing. Yesterday we went up to Hamilton inLaurie's new botor boat. It's a beauty. It travels 50 mi per hr. so we certainly skimmed over the water. Spent the evening at the Hamilton Yacht Club - a lovely place. Mili. - Place of Publication
