- Georgetown Centennial Soap Box Derby race was held on Maple Avenue on August 16th. The winner, Jim Rea, received five centennial silver dollars. He is third from the right. Also identified in the picture are Garry George and Peter Noble, standing behind the fellow in the football helmet, second cart from the left.
