Oakville (0-8) surrendered the first 35 points of Saturdays contest before breaking the shutout with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Mark Demerling to Rick Rodrigues. Will Thompson added a two-point conversion to account for the final score. Ryan Batchelor had three receptions for 64 yards in the loss, while Thompson had five catches for 51 yards. Canadian men's rugby team in Burlington The Canadian men's rugby team will face the Ontario Blues this weekend in Burlington, Canada's final tuneup on home soil before leaving for the rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Canada, which will face the U.S. Eagles Saturday at BMO Field in Toronto, will play the Blues Sunday at Sherwood Forest Park. Kickoff is sched- uled for 3:30 p.m. Following that contest, Canada will travel to Denver for another exhibition game with the Eagles before flying to New Zealand.
