supplied by Boots and about dozen friends were welcomed to the party to enjoy the remainder of the evening Auxiliary ladles over were honored guests as were Branch dent Harold Bad ham and wife Elsie Auxiliary Past Zone Commander Irene Shields and her husband Bill and Dominion Command Vice President Dave and his wife Alma Gifts were presented to Comrades Harold and Dave from the Auxiliary and two plaques were present by Irene Shields to the Auxiliary one from the Zone and other other from Irene Our Air Cadets did a truly fine Job of serving the dinner A Anniversary scrap- book was made up by Monk and It Is beautiful and something to be proud of Other honored guests were our charter members Mrs Maude Sheppard and Mrs Ateda Mc Cartney who received a well deserved standing ovation and our lovable twosons Jimmy and Maggie Murphy Jan Em won the door prize which was a beautiful silver tray with the anniversary dat es September Insert bed on it Truly a night to remember There are two signs up in the reminding you of the Oct Sat Andres Wine Tour Those members and wives and Aux members and husbands wishing to go may pay their each to our bar stewards and their names will be put on a list Friends of members wishing to go may do the same from Oct 2nd on there are enough seats avail able After the tour wine cheese and crackers will be served Bus will leave branch at B am and arrive In Winona about 10 a Tour begins at 11 clock Stopoff at another Legion on way home Is planned Should be home by 30 We welcome a new member to our branch His name Is Harold We hope you will Join In on our many and varied activities Harold and please make him welcome when you see him comrades This Friday Is really a big night In our branch This is our Elimination Draw and dinner and you know how popular that has been In the post Dave Bell is our man In charge of the evening and he has many helpers who can be counted on to see that this evening will follow the success of the others The Ladles will
