team travelled to a tourna ment In Kingston over the weekend They went to Ihe division championship match after winning one game and losing one In the final met Kingston and were defeated Their first game was play ed against the Kingston Township novice team Georgetown had fight to defeat Kingston but held them down in overtime play Kingston opened the scor ing In the first period while Georgetown remained score less until the second In the second Georgetown took over Ihe lead on an unassisted marker by Brett Robinson and a goal from Gary Stewart a minute later Davin and Mark Shep- were credited with the assist on Stewarts goal Kingston came back in Ihird period to tie the game at An extra overtime period had to be played when the tie was still unbroken at the final buzzer Pat McCarthy came on for Georgetown at of the overtime period to score the third and winning George town marker Peter carried the puck up the ice to McCarthy The game was an even match with both teams re maining close together on the number of shots on goal as well as penalties Georgetown faced Alia Vista in their second tourna ment game and went down to defeat In regulation Alta Vista picked up a two goal lead early In the game which didnt contest until they scored with seconds left in the game The marker was registered by Serge David with the assist going to Pat McCar thy Georgetown then entered Ihe division champion ship match wilh the city or Kingston The game was a rematch of last year when both teams faced each other In the final Georgetown took last years game and this year It went lo Kingston by a score of Jeff scored the only Georgetown marker with help from Serge David in the first period Kingston hit in one marker in he first period but pulled ahead later scoring three limes in
