call finally came it was a to the candidates in the newly created riding of Brampton Georgetown For candidate David Moulton it meant the cancellation of a tenday vacation in Vancouver which was to begin today he will be staying in he riding for the remainder of his vacation and will be taking a leave of absence when his vacation end Conservative candidate John McDer mid will also be taking a leave of absence from his job at Ontario Place for the duration of campaign Mil LIGHTED Liberal candidate Ross Milne who Is the incumbent MP in the former riding of Peel Slmcoc said he is delight with the decision to call the election It not easy to wait a year he said Mr Milne was in House for the announcement of the dissolution of men and was to fly back to Brampton Inst night to launch his campaign today Mr Milne said he was prepared for one of two possibilities in the final decision lo the call the election he thought ihc prime minister might call the election over the weekend or Monday when work had been completed on the govern emergency energy allocation bill Election 79 which did receive royal assent yesterday or that the coll might come later when a Ih bill which was to of Herald photo District health council unveils plans for major needs study The District Health Council has unveiled plans for a health needs study will evaluate the region a available health care services and facilities and identify a rcos where public health needs are not being met Announced by Health Coun cil officials at an press conference Friday the 15month study will sec health care professionals a cross region interviewed with regard to the nature and extent of tht they provide as well as families whose opinions of existing vices and future needs will be tabulated Health council chairman Barnes of Georgetown explained the study will be the investigation launch by Ihe council lhat will cover all of rather than just specific sections It is aimed he said at widening and
