and began painting Painting Miss Bailie said proved to be the most limeconsuming and painstaking task beginning first with a while enamel background and later add the stripes and figures in color paint Because murals depict roles played by each department in the tinning process the lunch room could have posed a problem Miss Bailie broke from the work theme briefly and designed a quiet pastoral see pictures of people working around them she explained Special attention was paid the color schemes of her murals In some departments the colors are particularly warm and vibrant but Miss Bathe
