mans best friend any rigntaT I am and always ban been a dog lover or may be I should say an animal lover but unfortunately it la not practical legal or sane to keep an elephant In your back yard Since married for close to years I have always had a dog in my life except for brief periods Coming to live In Georgetown in 1BS7 I brought along my border collie Tiny She enjoyed her new home and was popular with the neigh borhood children they all knew her within half a mile radius Now ifl years later a beagle and a mixture of bordercollie and have filled the void of the sadly missed Tiny Why Is probably the obvious question At ter Ttny was put to rest at yean of age I In no hurry to get another dog Two months had passed and I was surviving with out muddy paws tongue that persisted In washing off my nukeup and a tail that whipped glasses off the coffee table However my new found life last long One of sons brought borne a month old beagle bundle Is not my favorite breed having always been used to medium sized dogs anyway Una gllttg bundle had all the doggy Ingredients My eon announced Here Mum shes yours bar name Is Mlsha She im mediately stole my heart she licked away tears of Joy and stuck her wet nose to my ear More than a year had passed and had become part of the fam ily and then did a foolish thing I ted my daughterinlaw to a farm where she was choosing a pup for herself out of Utters Never should I expose myself to thlsl Gucsa who also left the farm with a black bundle a friend for Mlsha 1 explained to myself Jogger Is now a years old twice the site of Mlsha and they are the best of friends and com panions Jogger I am convinced thinks Mlsha is his mother But the story does not end happily after IB years I nave complaints from different neigh bors about their barking It Is true they bark but in my opinion not The mailman Is a Getting around a problem ACCESSIBLE SERVICES Physical barriers are always the major obstacles to physically disabled adults and children accessible I have received a few requests for consultations and have been assured that this service can be arranged If there are any other In Hills who would like to enquire about or request Accessible Services please contact me at during office hours Please remember that consultants and construction services are offered to private dwellings and consultation services only to the public sector victim also the dogs en closure runs along the aide of my neighbors gar so any person or car that enters their drive way is barked at They also bark at other doge especially if they are loose and linger around my fence Child ren comtngfrom or going to school who call lo them over the fence and but but not lest the once a week garbage collector My main concern Is Jogger the one with the mote piercing bark it appears I may have lo find him a new home preferably in a rural area IF I do find Mm a new owner and IP I do decide to give Mm up 1 hope be will be happy as be is still young enough to adjust If fail lo find someone there Is no alternative as I will not take Mm to the pound In the meantime I will have to limit his time In the back yard and try to control his barking But Just like all the endangered species he has a right to live and even bark in moderation Yours truly Mrs Animal Lover Hands in pocket please GDHS Marketing Group There is a tendency on the part of many
