far the playground equipment In front of a school assembly Principal Ilia Mulder explained that Mn Morey came to her about a playground and they started a com mil tee to raise fundi The students St Francis railed telling spices while groups such as the Knights of Columbus the Rotary and notary Anns the Klwanli and the Holy Crass Catholic Women League also donated fundi A Rotary Thon raised I towards the total cost or the playground The Ha I ton Hilts recreation department donated the labor towards the project and thus the playground will belong to the town At the opening ceremony were Sue Rotary Anns Rex Rotary Mr Columbus Pat Fuller Holy Cross C L Grant Isaac Tom Shepard and Joy Gwlllam recreation department Mrs Irene McCauley Separate School trustee and Mr Plovesan Area Plant and Bake Sale at the Georgetown Lions Hall and were able to raise S3 In to help out the Lions during the Bantam Hockey Tournament members of the Leo Club worked two hour shifts selling admission tickets and they also helped the Lionesses who provided lunches for the hockey players There are still many plans for future projects such as a car wash and the Journey For Sight and the Leos hope hat
