envelope from Halt on Hills Hydro today One was the size of the hydro bill for Jan 16 The second was a rate Increase card for 1964 This rate card shows an increase In the cost of power purchased by Hills Hydro Commission from Ontario Hydro of a per cent Kills Hydro Commission found It necessary pass on an increase of per cent effective Jan 1 We have not been assur ed that this will be the only 19B4 rate Increase At one time we in Ontario were able to say that we were bless with low cost hydro electric power that was before the complete mismanage ment of Ontario Hydro As glaring examples we should look at Wes ley Pipe Pickering and other financial disasters Next we should look at the degrading debt load by Ontario Hydro In reality the debt load la carried by the consumer as evidenced by the continued price Increase passed on by Ontario Hydro The Halton Hills Hydro Commission is part of the problem as it continues to pass on that increase without attempting to bold back the cost of doing bus trass Even the automo tive Industry has RJ Stuart its errors In Georgetown Peace is above party politics To the editor of The Herald Peace plan is for Parliamentarians says Regional
