Ontario Division of the Red Cross Mr Brown spoke to Acton Red Cross members at their annual meeting and awards night at the Christian Reformed Church Feb 18 He said in a report he received from a friend who had visited Ethiopia it was very rare to see a child under Iwo years of age Most of them had died Mr Brown said more people have died in Ethiopia than during the Jewish holocaust during World War Two Ethiopias greatest needs are food and medical help The cash crops in the land have been suffering Hue heavy droughts and Ihe dry winds in the area What was once good land for planting has almost been depleted from any worth because of planting year after year Mr hat one and a half million people in Ethiopia will need help in 1985 at a cost of twohundred million dollars The Red
